Being born with a spinal defect in Africa is the beginning of a long struggle for survival and social acceptance. Early surgery and lifelong follow-up is necessary to give those children the chance to live and develop.

Shot on location in Tanzania, this video was created together with Haydom Friends e.V. who offer medical services, follow-up, education, and life long support for those kids through the Spina Bifida Program at Haydom Hospital.
